No refunds for private lessons will be provided for any reason.  In the event that lessons are not used, the amount paid may be transferred to a credit toward camps and clinics.  Unused lessons in a lesson pack will become a credit if not used within one year of purchase date.

Our lessons are scheduled 12 months per year weather permitting.  If your lessons did not take place at your desired time, you will be able to schedule lessons at any future time with the NJLT lessons coaches.

Cancellation or reschedule for private lessons may be made up to 24 hours before the start of a scheduled lesson. Any cancellation within 24 hours of a scheduled private lesson will not be considered for future credit use unless due to inclement weather. Any cancellation or “no show” without notice will forfeit all monies paid and if interested in rebooking a lesson will need to do so and pay in full.

In the event of inclement weather as defined above, your NJLT coach will reach out to you the before a scheduled lesson to discuss rescheduling or another plan for the session. If your coach does not reach out, consider all lessons on as scheduled.

Pro-Rate Policies

If players can not make a clinic session due to a predetermined reason, players will receive a credit from that session if parents follow the below:
1. Email [email protected] at least 24 hours before session(s) notifying NJLT that your son/daughter will not be attending.
2. Email [email protected] within 48hours after the missed event to confirm that your son/daughter did not attend the session and NJLT will email you a coupon code for the pro-rated amount of the missed session.
Note – To find the pro-rated amount, subtract the $25 registration fee and divide remaining amount with the duration of days for the clinic. For example: If a player is going to miss one session of a 5 day clinic that costs $225 to attend, the prorated amount supplied in a coupon code applied to future NJLT events will be $40. Total clinic cost is $225 – $25 registration costs = $200. $200/5 sessions = $40 per session. The player would receive a $40 credit toward future NJLT events.

Our Pro-rate for missing a session is only available in the event of a pre-arranged scheduling issue. Pro-rate credits are not offered for players missing sessions due to illness, injury or inclement weather when sessions run as planned. In the event that a player is injured during an NJLT event they will be issued a credit to future events.

Refund Policy:

No refunds or credits will be issued for players who have registered to play with Team NJLT and do not participate.  Whether paying in full or on the monthly payment plan, the commitment to the full team registration price is made at the time of player registration.  Deposits and installment payments for NJLT Elite are non-refundable.  If a player is registered on a monthly payment plan and elects to depart the team prior to making the final monthly payment, the responsibility for the balance of monthly payments are due on the original schedule.  Deposits and installment payments for NJLT Elite are non-refundable. Registrations that become more than 60 days delinquent will be sent to our partner collection agency to collect the balance due.  No exceptions.

NJLT Lacrosse plans each team’s schedule with a set number of tournaments and events per season, as outlined in the Player-Parent Handbook. While it is our intent that all teams participate in the planned tournaments, unforeseen circumstances outside of NJLT’s control (including but not limited to weather, event cancellations, facility issues, or scheduling conflicts by tournament operators) may prevent participation in certain events.

In such cases, NJLT will make every reasonable effort to reschedule or replace the missed tournament with another comparable event within the same season. If a suitable replacement cannot be secured during that season, NJLT will provide a make-up tournament or event opportunity in the following season.

Participation in the advertised number of tournaments is a core part of our program commitment; however, refunds will not be issued due to schedule changes, cancellations, or adjustments outside of NJLT’s control.

Player Injury Policy:

In the event that a player incurs a season ending injury participating in an NJLT practice, tournament or event and will miss more than four tournaments, a 25% credit will be issued to participate in the following seasons NJLT Elite teams or can be applied camps and clinics.  If a player is medically cleared for play to participate in 3 or more tournaments, there will be no credit issued.

Team NJLT Lacrosse

When registering with NJLT Lacrosse, families are committing to a full one-year membership with the team. This commitment includes practices, tournaments, coaching, training sessions, gear packages, and other benefits outlined at the time of registration.

Financial Commitment

• All registrations are non-refundable.

• Payment in full (or through an approved payment plan) secures your roster spot and covers the full year of participation.

• Families may choose to discontinue their child’s participation at any point; however, this does not release the financial obligation made at the time of registration.

Cancellation by Participant

• Players may elect to leave the team at any time during the year.

• No refunds, credits, or prorated adjustments will be issued for voluntary withdrawal.

Cancellation by NJLT

• In the rare event that NJLT Lacrosse must cancel or significantly alter a program, we will make every effort to reschedule within the same year.

• If rescheduling within the same season is not possible, NJLT will provide a make-up opportunity in a future season.

• NJLT will not provide cash refunds but will honor program credits when applicable.

Missed Events

• Missed practices, tournaments, or events due to personal scheduling conflicts, illness, or other reasons are not refundable or creditable.

• Tournament cancellations outside of NJLT’s control (e.g., weather, facility closures) will be rescheduled when possible or credited toward future NJLT programming.

Acknowledgement

By completing registration, families acknowledge and agree to this Cancellation & Refund Policy. This policy is in place to ensure the stability of our rosters, coaching staff, scheduling, and tournament commitments.
