Boys Shoot to Score
Shooting training for players looking to gain an offensive advantage!
Fall Shoot to Score is designed for players of all experience levels, from beginners to advanced. This clinic focuses on individual player development, ensuring that each participant’s skill growth is prioritized, regardless of the experience level of other players in the session.

Boys Defense Training
This session is for defenive players (midfielders and long poles) looking for defensive position specific work.  Players need be working on their skills and a huge part of defense is being in the right spot and reacting the right way to an offensive players dodging – this is done through training.
- Players work in small groups under the instruction of the NJLT defensive coach
- Sessions focus on positioning, footwork, approach, stick checks and lacrosse individual and team defensive strategy
- Workouts are designed to train and develop proper technique and form for defensive players.
- Footwork and approach are key for one on one defenders to be successful.
- Team positioning and strategy for team defense.
Goalie Training
Workouts are reps sessions and the more shots a goalie faces, the better they will see the ball and make the saves.  This session is for goalies looking for training – just like the pro’s, players need to be out dialiing in their skills and goalies making saves is nothing different.
- Players work in a small group under the instruction of the NJLT goalie coaching staff
- Sessions focus on reps – getting more shots and seeing shots from every angle and place on the field.
- These sessions will provide goalies with repetition, training and core goalie skill development
- Workouts are designed to train and develop proper form in cage and develop muscle memory
Refund Policy
Cancellations
- Prior to 2 Weeks (14 Days) Before Start Date:
- Refunds will be issued, subject to a $25 administrative fee.
- Alternatively, you can receive a full credit toward future NJLT camps or clinics (credits not applicable to private lessons).
- Within 2 Weeks (14 Days) Leading Up to Start Date:
- A credit will be issued for future NJLT camps or clinics.
- No refunds will be provided for cancellations within this period.
- After the Start of a Camp or Clinic:
- No credits or refunds will be available once a camp or clinic has started, except in cases of injury or illness.
Inclement Weather
- No Refunds: No refunds of any kind will be granted in the event of inclement weather during a scheduled NJLT event.
- Accommodation: NJLT staff will do their best to accommodate any inclement weather situation and attempt to make up disrupted time.
- Definition: Inclement weather includes lightning, snow, and ice conditions that render the fields unplayable. Rain without lightning, wind, heat, and cold are not considered inclement weather situations.
- Responsibility: NJLT is not responsible if fields or parks close due to weather situations, but we will do our best to reschedule any missed time. Please check the weather and dress appropriately for all lacrosse sessions.
Schedule Changes
- No Refunds: No refunds will be granted if NJLT needs to change the schedule of our events for any reason.
- Credits: If schedule changes prevent players from participating, a credit for future camps and clinics will be issued.

Boys Shoot to Score: FAQ
1. What age group is this program for?
Offense/Defense is designed for boys in 2nd through 12th grade.
Goalies is designed for boys and girls in 2nd through 12th grade.
2. What experience level is required to join?
Players should have the lacrosse basics covered to get the most out of the shooting clinic. Â This is not a learn how to play lacrosse clinic, this is position specific skills development.
3. What skills will be covered in the program?
The program focuses on position specific lacrosse skills and an emphasis on higher level training/player development which is taught at a high level and broken down to the level of each player.
4. Where are the sessions held?
Sessions are held outdoors at the turf at St. John Vianney High School
5. What are the session times and duration?
Each session is 2 hours long. Â 11:00am – 1:00pm
6. What are the dates for the sessions?
The sessions are scheduled on the following dates:
- December 28 and 29.
7. How much does the program cost?

8. What should players bring to the sessions?
Offense and defense players should bring their lacrosse stick, helmet, gloves, appropriate footwear, and a water bottle. Â Goalies need full equipment – helmet, shoulder pads, gloves, throat guard, chest protector, cup, mouthguard and stick.
9. Is there a safety protocol in place?
Yes, player safety is our top priority. Our coaches are trained to provide a safe and supportive atmosphere for all participants.
10. How can I enroll my child in the program?

11. What if a session is canceled due to weather?
In case of inclement weather, we will notify participants of any cancellations and reschedule the session if possible. Â We will do our best to provide a make up session or a credit to future events!
12. Can parents watch the sessions?
Yes, parents are welcome to watch the sessions and support their children as they develop their lacrosse skills. Â There is no seating for spectators and anyone coming to watch will need their own chair. Â We ask that they sit in a place that does not interfere with the session, distract their child or sit behind the goals where shots are being taken.
