About Boys Lax Academy

The Boys Lax Academy is a 60 minute training-focused program designed for players with less than two years of experience. New players benefit from the core fundamentals being instructed, players with some experience benefit from the reps, skills development and additional stick time!

About the Lax Academy
The Boys Lax Academy is designed for players who want to take their game to the next level through focused, high-energy training. Our mission is simple: to build confident, skilled lacrosse players who excel on the field and grow as athletes and teammates.
Player Development Focus
We emphasize individual skill mastery—stick work, dodging, shooting, defense, and game IQ—while also building players’ overall athleticism. Every session is built to maximize reps, push players out of their comfort zone, and deliver real, measurable growth.
Expert Coaching
Led by experienced NJLT coaches, the Academy gives players direct access to high-level instruction in a small-group environment. With position-specific training and personal feedback, players learn the finer details that separate good players from great players.
Year Round Opportunities
The Lax Academy runs for seven training sessions each year, offering multiple opportunities for players to join. Each session has its own focus and includes a registration link so athletes can secure their spot with ease. Skills are seasonally appropriate and prepare players with the tools necessary to grow their game and compete.

The Boys Lax Academy is open to players from beginner to intermediate levels in grades 2 through 10. Whether your goal is learning lacrosse, building strong fundamentals, sharpening skills, or preparing for competition, the Lax Academy has a place for you.

What Do Players Need to Participate?
All players attending our lacrosse clinics should come prepared with the proper gear to participate safely and get the most out of training. Please make sure your lacrosse player wears athletic clothes appropriate for outdoor training for the season and brings:
- Lacrosse Stick
- Helmet
- Shoulder Pads
- Elbow Pads
- Gloves
- Mouthguard
- Water
- Cleats preferred – sneakers ok.
