Why This Camp Exists

Built for Girls Lacrosse.
Not Adapted From Boys.

Girls lacrosse has its own shooting geometry, angles, and defensive pressure. This camp is coached and structured specifically for female athletes — from the mechanics of a girls stick to the dodging lanes, angles, and finishing moves that create goals in girls lacrosse. Three evenings, hundreds of reps, and a guaranteed speed increase every participant takes home.

Girls-Specific Mechanics

Shooting form is coached within the context of girls lacrosse rules — no cross-checking, different angles to cage, and a unique defensive pressure environment that boys camp can't replicate.

Girls-Only Environment

A dedicated, girls-only space means players are more comfortable taking risks, asking questions, and pushing their limits — leading to faster skill development and greater confidence.

Hundreds of Reps Per Night

Repetition drives muscle memory. Every session is structured around maximum shot volume so mechanics become automatic under pressure — not just in drills.

Live Shots on Real Goalies

The final night merges with Goalie Camp, giving shooters a competitive, game-realistic environment to test everything they've built over the previous two sessions.

The Monmouth Difference

Why Players Come Back

Guaranteed Improvement

Every single player increases shot speed. That's not a marketing claim — it's our track record across every camp we've run.

Position-First Coaching

We don't run generic drills. Every rep is tied to a real game situation girls face — specific angles, defensive pressure, and scoring opportunities.

Small Group Sizes

Low player-to-coach ratios mean every athlete gets personal coaching attention — not just a turn in a long line.

Have Questions?

Camp FAQs

Is this camp really girls-only?

Yes — this is a completely separate camp from the Boys Shooting Camp, running on the same dates but with its own dedicated groups, coaches, and instruction tailored to girls lacrosse mechanics and game situations.

What experience level is this camp for?

All levels are welcome, from players with a year or two of experience to seasoned high school athletes. Groups may be split by experience level on-site so every player is appropriately challenged.

What does my daughter need to bring?

Girls field equipment: stick, goggles, mouthguard, cleats or sneakers, and a water bottle. No extra gear is needed — just what she uses in a regular practice.

Will she actually shoot on real goalies?

Yes. On Night 3, the Girls Shooting Camp merges with the Goalie Camp for live shot sessions, giving your daughter game-realistic reps against active goalies in a competitive setting.

Is the speed increase guaranteed?

Please review the full refund policy on the Monmouth Lacrosse website. Spots are limited and registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
