Three Divisions · One Standard

A Development System Built for Every Stage

Team NJLT is structured into three key development divisions — Roots, Evolution, and Elite — each designed to support players at critical stages of their growth. Within each division, players are placed on grade-level teams to ensure age-appropriate training, competition, and long-term development.

There is no fee to be evaluated — online registration required. Once a position on a team is filled, evaluation registration for that age/position closes. We highly recommend registering and attending an early evaluation to secure your spot.

The NJLT Method

The Core Skills Combine

Our evaluations are built like a true Core Skills Combine, modeled after the NFL Combine — but tailored for lacrosse. Players are tested through a series of skill-based drills, and their results roll up into a Total Player Score.

That score is benchmarked against years of proprietary NJLT data and compared against our history of players in the same position and age. Every NJLT player completes the combine at the start and end of each season — it's how we train smarter and develop players faster.

Meet the Director Behind NJLT

Coach Mann is a highly respected lacrosse coach with a deep passion for player development and a proven track record of success. He brings years of experience coaching and mentoring athletes at every level — helping players refine their skills, elevate their lacrosse IQ, and prepare for high-level competition.

Known for his strategic approach and commitment to excellence, Coach Mann has played a pivotal role in shaping NJLT into a premier program, guiding athletes toward their goals both on and off the field.

NJLT Lacrosse Coaching Staff

NJLT’s coaching staff is comprised of top performers in their respective positions, including high school and NCAA coaches, as well as collegiate players who bring fresh, high-level insight to training. Former graduates of the NJLT progam are also included on our coaching staff, delivering outstanding instruction as a product of the program, system, and culture they helped build. This alignment ensures that every player is coached with the same high standards, expertise, and commitment to success that define NJLT.

The Full Picture

The NJLT Program at a Glance

A complete club lacrosse experience built around year-round, structured development — so players and families always know what to expect across all four seasons.

In-Season Schedule

Twice-weekly high-intensity team practices focused on skill development and game strategy, plus one night of playbook review or specialized development training.

Off-Season Schedule

One session per week in late summer and winter, focused on individual development. Spring is intentionally light so players can prioritize town and school teams.

Practice Schedule

Summer kicks off in May with midweek evenings through July. Fall runs September–November with Sunday team practices and late-season tournaments.

Tournament Locations

Competition across the Mid-Atlantic, primarily NJ and Eastern PA — all within driving distance, with Hershey the only typical overnight event.

Player Development Plans

We use TeamGenius for evaluations, combines, direct feedback, and individualized plans — so every player knows exactly what to work on.

Locations & Communication

Home field at Cedar Drive MS, Colts Neck; winter training at Capelli, Tinton Falls. Scheduling and team comms run on TeamSnap.
