Goal number one is to get all players to increase their shot speed. This is achieved through fundamental skills development, shooting form refinement, and optimizing body rotation. Often, players come to these sessions with bad habits formed through informal shot training and skill development. Our focused training sessions guarantee an increase in shot speed for all players. On average, participants see an increase of 4-5mph per session. Our record improvement is by a high school junior (committed to NCAA Lacrosse), who increased his shot speed from 76mph to 92mph! Shooting is all about proper form, and NJLT takes players’ shooting to the next level.

Refund Policy

Cancellations

• Prior to 2 Weeks (14 Days) Before Start Date:
  • Refunds will be issued, subject to a $25 administrative fee.
  • Alternatively, you can receive a full credit toward future NJLT camps or clinics (credits not applicable to private lessons).
• Within 2 Weeks (14 Days) Leading Up to Start Date:
  • A credit will be issued for future NJLT camps or clinics.
  • No refunds will be provided for cancellations within this period.
• After the Start of a Camp or Clinic:
  • No credits or refunds will be available once a camp or clinic has started, except in cases of injury or illness.

Inclement Weather

• No Refunds: No refunds of any kind will be granted in the event of inclement weather during a scheduled NJLT event.
• Accommodation: NJLT staff will do their best to accommodate any inclement weather situation and attempt to make up disrupted time.
• Definition: Inclement weather includes lightning, snow, and ice conditions that render the fields unplayable. Rain without lightning, wind, heat, and cold are not considered inclement weather situations.
• Responsibility: NJLT is not responsible if fields or parks close due to weather situations, but we will do our best to reschedule any missed time. Please check the weather and dress appropriately for all lacrosse sessions.

Schedule Changes

• No Refunds: No refunds will be granted if NJLT needs to change the schedule of our events for any reason.
• Credits: If schedule changes prevent players from participating, a credit for future camps and clinics will be issued.

Boys Shoot to Score: FAQ

1. What age group is this program for?

This program is designed for boys in 2nd through 12th grade.

2. What experience level is required to join?

Boys Shoot to Score is open to players of all experience levels, from beginners to advanced.  Players should have the lacrosse basics covered to get the most out of the shooting clinic.

3. What skills will be covered in the program?

The program focuses on fundamental lacrosse skills, including passing, catching, shooting, dodging, shooting on the run, and finishing. Special emphasis is placed on shot speed and accuracy.

4. Where are the sessions held?

Sessions are held outdoors at Cedar Drive Middle School, located at 73 Cedar Drive, Colts Neck, NJ 07722.

5. What are the session times and duration?

Each session is 60 minutes long, from 10:00am to 11:00am.

6. What are the dates for the sessions?

The sessions are scheduled on the following dates:

• September 14th
• September 21st
• September 28th
• October 5th
• October 12th
• October 19th

7. How much does the program cost?

The cost for the entire program is $185 per player.

8. What should players bring to the sessions?

Players should bring their lacrosse stick, appropriate footwear, a water bottle, and any personal protective equipment they usually use.

9. Is there a safety protocol in place?

Yes, player safety is our top priority. Our coaches are trained to provide a safe and supportive atmosphere for all participants.

10. Who are the coaches?

Our experienced coaches are skilled in developing players’ offensive techniques and overall lacrosse skills. They provide individualized attention to help each player reach their potential.

11. How can I enroll my child in the program?

To enroll your child, please visit our website to enroll online.

12. What if a session is canceled due to weather?

In case of inclement weather, we will notify participants of any cancellations and reschedule the session if possible.  We will do our best to provide a make up session or a credit to future events!

13. Can parents watch the sessions?

Yes, parents are welcome to watch the sessions and support their children as they develop their lacrosse skills.

14. Is there a refund policy?
