About the Academy
Girls-Only Training.
Built for Every Season
The Girls Lax Academy is a 60-minute, fundamentals-focused training program running seven blocks throughout the year—coached and structured specifically for female athletes. It’s built for girls in grades 2–10 at beginner to intermediate levels who want real skill development through high-quality, repetition-based coaching in a supportive, girls-only environment.
Each block is four consecutive weekly sessions at Cedar Drive Middle School in Colts Neck (outdoor) or Ivy League in Manalapan (indoor). Skills are timed to the lacrosse calendar—so players always prepare for what comes next.
Fundamentals & Position-Specific IQ
Every session builds the technical foundation players need — stick work, dodging, shooting, defense, and the game IQ to make it all work in real situations.
Maximum Reps Every Night
60 minutes of high-intensity skill reps. No standing around. Every player works continuously from warm-up to final whistle with purpose-driven repetition.
Expert Monmouth Coaches
Direct access to experienced coaches in a small-group setting—with personal feedback on each player’s specific areas for improvement.
Seasonally Appropriate Curriculum
Each block is timed to the lacrosse calendar—preseason preparation, in-season sharpening, off-season development, and winter fundamentals work.

Camp FAQs
Who is the Girls Lax Academy designed for?
Girls in grades 2–10 at beginner to intermediate levels. The program is specifically designed for players with less than two years of experience who want structured fundamentals in a girls-only environment. More experienced players benefit from added reps, refined technique, and high-quality coaching feedback.
How are the sessions structured throughout the year?
Seven training blocks: Preseason, Spring, Midseason, Summer, Fall One, Fall Two, and Winter. Each block is four consecutive weekly sessions at 5:00–6:00 PM. Players can join any single block or attend multiple throughout the year for continuous development.
What is the difference between indoor and outdoor sessions?
Outdoor sessions (Spring, Midseason, Summer, Fall One) are held at Cedar Drive Middle School in Colts Neck and cost $150. Indoor sessions (Preseason, Fall Two, Winter) are held at Ivy League in Manalapan and cost $165. Indoor sessions have limited enrollment—register early.
What equipment does my daughter need?
Girls lacrosse requires minimal gear: lacrosse stick, goggles, mouthguard, cleats or sneakers, athletic clothes, and a water bottle. No helmet, pads, or gloves are needed. Lacrosse Unlimited in Red Bank and SidelineSwap are both excellent gear sources.
Can my son do both the Academy and the Summer Camp?
Yes — and we highly recommend it. The Boys Lax Academy and the Summer Camp are complementary programs. Academy sessions build technical skills throughout the year; Summer Camp (June & July, grades 2–12) provides a full 4-day competitive experience. Many players do both every year.
